i80 Scanner Support

To install the i80 flashable firmware you'll need to use the firmware downloader, which is included with the i80 firmware ZIP file. Read the following agreement and then download the file if necessary.

By downloading from Kodak, you agree to the terms & conditions outlined in the license agreement. Actual filesize for multilanguage downloads may vary.

Download the file listed below, and then follow the instructions in the “i80 FW Upgrade.txt” file.

IMPORTANT: To insure the correct installation of the following driver releases, we highly recommend that any prior version, either current, older, or newer, be fully uninstalled as follows:

UNINSTALL PROCEDURE:

1. Click on the Windows "Start" button
2. Select the "Programs" group
3. Select the "Kodak i80" group
4. Select the "Uninstall Driver" program
5. After the uninstall program completes,
   delete any remaining files in the following two directories:
   - C:\WINNT\twain_32\kodak\Eki80
   - C:\WINNT\pixtran\scandrv\EKI80
6. Then download and install the required version below.

LATEST DRIVERS: The most current release is v3.01 and is recommended for all Applications that are based on the TWAIN DataSource. This release v3.01 will install both a TWAIN DataSource, and an ISIS Driver as follows:

• v3.01.031204 - i80 TWAIN DataSource
• v3.01.041904 - i80 ISIS Driver

NOTE: For these DRIVERS; After downloading the file to the Host PC for the scanner, Double click to initiate the self extracting executable file, and complete the install by following the instructions on the screen.

ORIGINAL DRIVERS: v3.00, and is recommended for all Applications that use either the TWAIN DataSource, or an ISIS Driver. Kodak Capture Software v6.1 requires the original TWAIN drivers listed below.
