This error occurs when attempting to scan over the network with the scanner in Single User Mode. The scanner must be in multi-user mode to allow for successful network-based scans.
To enable multi user scan mode - on the operator control panel:
1. Select the three lines in the green circle at the top right.
2. Select “sharing mode”
3. Select “Multiple User Mode”
4. Restart the scanner and the scanning application.
