Scaricate qui l'ultimo firmware per gli scanner della serie i200

Prima di scaricare il nuovo firmware sullo scanner, scaricare e installare l'ultima versione del driver dello scanner serie i200. Dopo aver installato i driver più recenti sul PC host, tornare a questa pagina per aggiornare il firmware come segue

Istruzioni per l'installazione

  1. Fare clic su Firmware i200 e scaricare il file in una directory temporanea sull'unità C.

  2. Doppio clic sul file per estrarre i file del firmware. Per impostazione predefinita, i file vengono inseriti nella directory "C:/Temp". In alternativa, è possibile inserire una directory di propria scelta. Per facilitare l'installazione si consiglia di utilizzare C:\WINNT\twain_32\kodak\kds_i200\Firmware.

  3. Fare clic sul pulsante "Unzip" per estrarre i file. A questo punto è possibile eliminare il file i200FW_vxxxxx.exe per risparmiare spazio sul PC.

  4. Usare quindi lo Scan Validation Tool per scaricare il file i200_xxxxxx.ekpgfw dalla directory selezionata nel passaggio precedente. Il pulsante Download si trova sotto la scheda Setup di SVT.

  5. Una volta completato il download, spegnere e riaccendere lo scanner.
  6. Per attivare le nuove funzioni dello scanner è DOVUTO eseguire una calibrazione dello scanner. Si consiglia vivamente di eseguire questa operazione subito dopo l'installazione del firmware e il riavvio.

Nota importante per gli utenti del software KODAK Capture

  • Se si installa l'ultima versione di SVT 5.24 e il firmware 2.5.5, è necessario utilizzare KODAK Capture Software versione 6.6 o superiore per far funzionare correttamente lo scanner. Scaricare la versione Lite di Capture Software. Per passare all'ultima versione completa di Capture Software, contattare il centro di assistenza Kodak locale.

La versione del firmware può essere controllata selezionando la scheda "Info" dell'SVT.

Scaricando da Kodak, l'utente accetta i termini e le condizioni delineati nel license agreement. Le dimensioni effettive dei file scaricati in più lingue possono variare.

Installare il software e i controlli di luminosità

Installando i driver dello scanner dal link in fondo a questa pagina, verranno installati i più recenti SVT (Scanner Validation Tool), TWAIN Data Source e il più recente driver ISIS per gli scanner della Serie i200.

Tutti gli scanner della serie i200, con o senza l'accessorio piano, devono essere aggiornati a questo livello di software host e il firmware deve essere aggiornato alla versione 2.5.5 del firmware i200 dopo l'installazione del nuovo driver. In caso contrario, lo scanner non funzionerà correttamente.

  • Aggiunge la possibilità di accettare tabelle di colori personalizzate create con il Controllo luminosità e contrasto
  • Aggiunge la funzione iThresholding agli scanner i250 e i260.
  • Consente all'i280 di eseguire la scansione come immagine singola di documenti lunghi fino a 34 pollici.
  • Dopo l'installazione di SVT, è necessario un riavvio.
  • SVT non sovrascrive più le versioni più recenti, è necessario disinstallarlo per caricare le versioni più vecchie

    1. Run the Uninstaller (Note: For all other Operating Systems, the Uninstall is complete and correct, go to step 8)
    2. Delete the following directory/folder and any sub-directories/folders:
      C:\windows\twain_32\kodak\kds_i200
    3. Delete the following directory/folder and any sub-directories/folders:
      C:\Program Files\Kodak\Document Imaging
    4. Delete file: C:\windows\system\kdssti.dll
    5. Delete file: C:\windows\inf\other\kdssti.inf (Note: inf is a hidden directory)
    6. Delete file: C:\windows\system32\drivers\kdsmm.sys
    7. Delete files: C:\windows\PIXTRAN\Eki200*.*
    8. Restart Windows
    9. Install the required version of SVT

    FOR Windows 7 32-bit ONLY, USE THIS PROCEDURE

    Accessing Device Manager and Device list:

    1. Right click the Computer icon
    2. Select Manage from the list that pops up. The Computer Management window will appear
    3. Select Device Manager from the list on the left of the window
    4. Double click "IEEE 1394 Bus host controllers" from the device list.
    5. Verify driver files:
    • If the device name is "1394 OHCI Compliant Host Controller (Legacy)", verify the correct files are installed. Otherwise proceed to Installation of Driver Files below.

    Driver Verification

    1. Double click the "1394 OHCI Compliant Host Controller (Legacy)", device name. The controller properties window will open.
    2. Select the Driver tab.
    3. Left click Driver Details button from the window.
    4. Check that the Driver files list shows 2 files:
      1394bus.sys and ohci1394.sys
    5. If these are the current driver files, you may close out of Computer Management and proceed with testing. If not, close the Driver Details window and continue with the Installation of Driver Files step 2.

    Installation of Driver Files:

    1. Double click the 1394 host controller device name. The controller properties window will open
    2. Select the Driver tab. Click the Update Driver button
      1. Select "Browse ..... software". Click Next
      2. Select "Let me ..... computer". Click Next
      3. Highlight "1394 OHCI Compliant Host Controller (Legacy)" in the driver list.  Click Next
      4. Close the installation finished window when it appears
      5. Click the Driver Details button from the Properties window
      6. Verify the files 1394bus.sys and ohci1394.sys are listed
      7. Close the properties and management windows.
